2/10/2010 - What a bunch of crap.  Aren't you aware that global warming and all the hoopla over CO2, etc. has been thoroughly discredited and shown to be both a fraud and a hoax? CO2 doesn't build up in atmosphere and cause heating of the planet, period.  CO2 is evolved into space at the same rate it is generated.  Which is why over the last decade global temperatures have actually declined, while CO2 levels have doubled.

Time to get off the environmental extremist bandwagon, which is just a front for the modern socialist/communist movement today, and deal with reality and facts.  And the facts are that oil and gas and coal are all safe, highly-effective, readily-available, practical and economical sources of energy, while wind and solar, et. al. are just not practical or very good at all.  Plus the environmentalists are blocking solar and wind farms, anyway.

Mac Ackers note: This was a response from someone who works for an oil industry service company. Just goes to show there are extremists on both sides of the spectrum, and for me, reiterates the importance of a publication like Greening of Oil that’s willing to report solely on the science, free from the clutter of personal opinions.
