As more communities with gas drilling in their backyards start to worry about what's in the fluids used to crack open shale formations, some companies are taking steps to make those waters cleaner. Devon Energy is leading the way, according to the folks at Greening of Oil:
Devon Energy said it has been able to recycle a small percentage of the nearly 4 million gallons of wastewater produced per well in North Texas' Barnett Shale.
