Bill Streever is best known as the author of Cold: Adventures in the World’s Frozen Places, but he’s also an ecologist and the environmental studies program director for BP Alaska. Streever told online magazine Greening of Oil that working for an oil company allows him to “make a difference and influence company policy from within, more so than working from the outside.” Read the original story here.
